Even Genesis Talks about Levels of Consciousness There are many names in the Old Testament that really aren't names at all. These names are actually words and in some instances names of locations. "And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah. And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her. And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er."--Genesis 38:1-3. To the casual observer, and most Christians reading the Bible this passage would seem to mean that a man named Judah left his brethren and had sex with a Canaanite, and bore a son they named Er. However, the true meaning is that the Jews fell from New Jerusalem or the right hemisphere and reverted back to the carnal mind and began to mate with the carnal Canaanites this was in error. The meaning of the name Er I think is obvious. "And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan. And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him. And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar."--Genesis 384-6. Here the name Onan means strong flesh. Then she bore him another son called Shelah which means desire and this took place in Chezib which means deception. The name of Er's first born was named Tamar which means palm, and means that in the chaos of the dessert of your mind there exists an oasis. Error is thought and Tamar is divine truth, and thought cannot touch divine truth. "And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him."--Genesis 38:7 "And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother."Genesis 38:8. So, Judah said to the flesh go into your dead brother's wife, but no matter how you try to commune with the divine through thought it will never work. "And Onan (flesh) knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also."--Genesis 38:9, 10. Your flesh cannot enter into the holy place neither can your thoughts or ideas. It is totally up to you. "And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep."--Genesis 38:12, 13. Going up represents Judah returning to New Jerusalem where he once again herded the sheep, or the words of God. The story ends with Judah's realization that he had communed with his own mind. The moral of the story is that you cannot rely on desire and the intellect to enter into the kingdom. It will always mislead you. Your priests and ministers have you praying fruitlessly to a God that does not exist while ignoring the true God who they for some reason do not like. Here is what the Apostle Paul had to say: "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."--Romans 8:5-8. Notice the parallel here between those that are in the flesh and Cain. Neither can please God. What we find in Christian churches are carnally minded priests and clergy ministering to the carnally minded about a god, which scripture, quite frankly, says does not exist. The basis for this comes from scripture: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."--Genesis 3:15. The reference here is the clash between the union of the woman or the emotional body and the man which is the mental body that gives birth to God consciousness as opposed to the carnal intellect. "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."--James 4:4. All modern day Christian churches with the exception of the Greek and Armenian are derived from the Catholic Church which means universal or encompassing the entire world. The God that James and Paul are referring to is not of this universe. Here Paul clearly states what the allegorical crucifixion is all about: "And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:"--Ephesians 2:16. The symbolic crucifixion destroys the enmity and unites the mind of God with the intellect. "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."--Luke 9:23. Unless you believe that Jesus is telling his followers to be crucified on a daily basis then you have to realize that he is telling them to take up his yoke or daily devotion, and if this is what he recommended for his followers, don't you think that this is the nature of the crucifixion mentioned in the gospels and not some real physical crucifixion. This passage is also mentioned in Matthew and Mark. "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."--Matthew 11:29. Yoke can be interpreted as a burden or compliance with a regimen such as yoga which is Sanskrit for yoke. Meditation has a symbiotic relation to yoga. "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."--Revelation 3:10. This tells you that if you remain patient you will rise up from the earth or the lower mind. "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience."--Luke 8:15 "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."--Revelation 3:11. Crown or Keter refers to the renewed consciousness. "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."--Revelation 3:12. This is where the renewed consciousness dwells in New Jerusalem or the right hemisphere of the brain. Since a pillar or obelisk is the symbol of religion, therefore a person who keeps Christ's commands will have their own religion formed in the right hemisphere of their brain. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."--Romans 12:2. "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;"--Ephesians 4:22. "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;"--Ephesians 4:23. "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."--John 3:7. Your mind is corrupt by lust and must be renewed, to this end "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."--Romans 12:1. The Apostle Paul implores you to surrender the lust and desires of the human body in order to renew your mind. Carnally Minded People do not Understand the Spirit "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."--1Corinthians 2:14. The average carnally minded person is materially driven and cannot understand matters of the spirit. None of this makes any sense to them. So, they cling together with likeminded people in religious groups singing songs and listening to sermons while claiming to be people of faith. "How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."--2Corinthians 12:4. So, how is it that your priest or minister claims to read holy words. "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ."--1Corinthians 2:16. "And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."--Matthew 21:12, 13. Christians interpret this as Jesus going into the temple's courtyard and driving out the vendors because they had corrupted the temple of God, but the following verse should shed some light on what is really happening. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"--1Corinthians 3:16. The moneychangers are the thoughts and desires to convert money into material goods and ideological clutter of the mind of the flesh, while the doves represent the freedom of the higher mind, which is what the moneychangers have sold off in favor of materialism. Religion claims to know the unknowable, at least for them, then places you on an unjustifiable road to salvation. Why don't you ask them about their track record? Just how many people have they saved, but I can answer that, zero. For this reason Jesus says: "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"--Matthew 6:25. It is because thoughts are a trap. You cannot enter the kingdom via the intellect. "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"--Matthew 6:26. It is not required that you think of what you are going to eat. "Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?" And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:"--Matthew 6:27, 28. Other than man no other creation of God has to think about their existence. They are replenished naturally. "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?--Matthew 6:31. Continued Table of Contents |
