According to the Scriptures Tithing is a Fraud
The first five books of the bible are filled with verses pertaining to tithes, but how can you give to God what already belongs to God. "And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD."--Leviticus 27:32.

"And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:"--Deuteronomy 12:6. This false concept of tithing led to the daily temple animal sacrifices practiced by the Pharisee. They even went so far as to fashion a temple based on the design of the human brain, as laid out in scripture, but for some reason were never able to put 2 and 2 together and realize that it was not the sacrifice of animals that God was seeking.

"For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:"--Jeremiah 7:2. "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do."--John 8:44. The father always represents the carnal, as in the word incarnate, mind or lower consciousness. The male or the husband represents the mental body, the wife or female represents the emotional body, and the sister represents the spirit, while Egypt like the Earth represents the lower or carnal mind. What religion has done is confound the wife with the sister. When you are in spirit, you are in nothingness not living by the emotions.

While many conservative religious scholars still cling to the idea that Abraham and Sarah were real actual flesh and blood people, there is no record, that even if they did exist, that they kept a diary of their lives, or that anyone wrote a biography about their lives. So, in other words, even if they did actually live then the stories about them were handed down mouth to mouth over centuries before they were actually written down. Therefore, at best the story is a legend and more likely just pure mythology.

"Following 70 years of intensive excavations in the Land of Israel, archaeologists have found out: The patriarchs' acts are legendary, the Israelites did not sojourn in Egypt or make an exodus, they did not conquer the land. Neither is there any mention of the empire of David and Solomon, nor of the source of belief in the God of Israel. These facts have been known for years, but Israel is a stubborn people and nobody wants to hear about it."--Ze'ev Herzog, (Israeli archeologist, professor of archaeology at The Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures at Tel Aviv University) 'Deconstructing the Walls of Jericho'- "Any attempt to question the reliability of the biblical descriptions is perceived as an attempt to undermine "our historic right to the land" and as shattering the myth of the nation that is renewing the ancient Kingdom of Israel."--Ze'ev Herzog, ibid

"And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife."--Genesis 12:11-17 What you have just read has nothing to do with a man named Abram, or his wife Sarai, or for that matter Egypt or Pharaoh. Here the mental body is trying to pass off the emotional body, which is Abram's wife, as the spirit, or sister, and God says absolutely no way, and therefore punishes the offender.

Then in Genesis 13 we are once again confronted with the very same problem that plagued Cain and Abel. Here we find Abram at odds with Lot. Lot means veil. "And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold."--Genesis 13:1, 2. "And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together."--Genesis 13:5, 6. "And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land."--Genesis 13:7 5-7. Here Abram commences his ascension out of the carnal mind, Egypt. The cattle much like goats represent the thoughts and desires of the mind born in the left hemisphere of the brain, and here you have two incompatible aspirations. "But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt."--Genesis 19:26. Lot's wife is an obvious reference to the emotions. Notice she didn't turn into a statue of salt, rather she became a pillar of salt which is an upright structure much like an obelisk which is the symbol of the stone upon which a church or religion is constructed. So, this simply means that when you begin to raise your level of consciousness the emotions will try to pull you back down to earth so those who waver or look back will turn away from God and toward religion. "Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:"--Genesis 18:4. A little water represents the second level of consciousness or truth, the baptism, and feet are obviously the lowest part of the body that are in contact with the earth, and have to be symbolically cleansed. "I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight."--Luke 10:21. Only unto those who are given is the truth revealed, but to those who are without all they see are parables.

"And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other."--Genesis 13:10, 11. Sodom is your lower mind while Lot represents carnal human desire, and in mysticism the plain means confusion. Lot's wife represents the emotions. So, when Lot moves to the east or right hemisphere of the brain his desires are dissipated, and the veil is lifted leaving Abram alone in the left hemisphere. This is not some event that took place millennia ago, but is constantly taking place in your brain. It is the constant chatter in your brain that doesn't stop until Lot is able to move to the right and his desires disappear. Hence, in Matthew 26:41, "the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." This means that the carnal mind is unwilling to give up its' attachments to the physical world.

"Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him,...For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever."--Genesis 13:12, 13, 15.

"And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,"--Genesis 19:6. When you pray or meditate you enter into the closet, of your mind, and your inner house must be secure. Nothing must be allowed to enter the holy place. This is why you take no thought, for thought will try and bring you back down to earth. So, God seeds the left hemisphere of the brain to Abram. The city of Sodom represents the carnal mind which is opposed to God, and once Lot leaves the left side of the brain than God can speak to you. "And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:"--Genesis 13:14. Once Abram had expunged Lot from his mind then his whole mind was his alone.

How do we know that Sodom is not a real city, but represents the carnal mind? To find the answer we have to look no further than the Book of Revelation: "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."--Revelation 11:8. Unless you believe that Jesus was crucified in a town in Egypt called Sodom, you have to realize that what the author is referring to is the lower or carnal mind often referred to as Egypt.

"And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed."--Genesis 19:17. Lot is being told to not continue to live in confusion, but rather to escape into the air or the third level of consciousness, but as you will see he is afraid. "And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my LORD: Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:"--Genesis 19:18, 19.

"And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters."--Genesis 19:30. Daughters mean desires. So, Lot dwelt in the inner caverns of his mind with his desires, but this time the desire is not of the flesh, but of the spirit for communion with God. "Then his two daughters proceed to rape their father. "And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father."--Genesis 19:31, 32. Here the wine is the new wine which intoxicates. "And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab:...And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi:"--Genesis 19:37. Moab means desirable land, and Ben/ammi means son of my kindred. This is no different than the story of Mary which is the virgin mind inter-coursing with God to create the new born Christ consciousness within you.

"Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD."--Genesis 13:17, 18. Here Mamre means confusion and Hebron means community. In the confusion of the mind, all of which God promises to cede to Abram, the altar was built.

"And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus."--Genesis 14:15. This represents the first time that the right side of the brain overcomes the left side. "And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return"--Genesis 14:17. Remember that kings usually represent thoughts, but this is the king of kings, the ego.

"And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,"--Genesis 14:21, 22. Here the ego realizes that it is losing the battle to the meditator and is ready to make a deal, but Abram rejects his deal. You stick with me and I'll give you all the riches of the world. This is much the same as the story of Jesus in the wilderness being tempted by Satan. This ties the ego to the carnal wants and desires of the physical body. "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;"--Matthew 4:8.

"It is of some interest that such tendencies within the Israeli secular society go hand-in-hand with the outlook among educated Christian groups. I have found a similar hostility in reaction to lectures I have delivered abroad to groups of Christian bible lovers, though what upset them was the challenge to the foundations of their fundamentalist religious belief."--Ze'ev Herzog, ibid.

"That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:"--Genesis 14:23. Abram rebuffs the ego, the king of Sodom, saying I will not take even one thought from you.

"And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all."--Genesis 14:20. So Abram commits to giving God 10%, not of his income or of his animals or produce, but of his brain and then gets to meet the king of peace.

"And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God."--Genesis 14:18. Here we finally find out who Melchizedek really is. He is the king of Salem, which means peace, or the king of the right hemisphere of the brain also known as Jerusalem. In other words he is the Old Testament version of Jesus Christ. The bread is knowledge of the truth, and the wine is the spirit of the right hemisphere of the brain, and you cannot receive the bread and wine until after you have met Melchizedek, and that only happens after you have given up the 10%.

"And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee."--Genesis 28:22. Here Jacob is alone out in the Arabian dessert. There is no community, there is no church. So, how can he be giving 10% of his wealth to a church? "And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved"--Genesis 32:30. "And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh."--Genesis 32:31. The Sun is the inner Sun not the Sun in the sky. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."--Exodus 20:3. The word 'me' once again is the singular and a synonym for 'I'. So, Thou shalt have no other gods before I AM, or the single eye.

"For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually."--Hebrews 7:1-3. Right here is where the bible tells you that Melchisedec (note the spelling variation between Old and New Testament) is not a person, but an eternal consciousness or energy that dwells inside us all. The kings of course are thoughts in particular those of the ego whom Abraham (notice no longer Abram) has defeated. Biblically, Salem means Jerusalem or peace, and according to Paul refers to Jerusalem which is above or the right hemisphere of the brain. Note the 'Son of God' analogy to Jesus Christ. Abram and Sarai became Abraham and Sarah once they began to aspirate or practice the breath during meditation, with the 'h' sound representing the breath.

"Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth."--Hebrews 7:4-8. Abraham gives a tenth of the spoils, which usually refers to the victors portion after a war, but here the enemy was not a foreign adversary but his own mind. So, Paul is telling the faithful that the priests, who are men that came out of the loins of Abraham and die just like you, have no right demanding tithes according to the laws of men, since they are children of Abraham who gave his tithes to the only one that really has a right to tithes, the eternal Melchisedec, who was not descended from any man. It is those who give the 10% of themselves to the Lord who receive the blessing, and not those who give the 10% to men who die. It is the left side of your brain which makes you feel guilty so that you fall victim to the religious parasites who prey on the uninformed. So, stop giving money to human beings, who are no closer to God than you, when the only tithe required is that of the 10%, or the left hemisphere of the brain, which is intended for the universal spirit, and not some priest or church.

"And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him."--Hebrews 7:9, 10. Levi symbolizes that part of you which is obedient. Abraham is your divine will, and Melchisedec is the Christ consciousness within you. So, what this means is your willingness to give that which is your flesh to that which is your divine mind or the Christ within you. "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."--Galatians 3:29. If you become as Christ then you are of Abraham's seed. It has nothing to do with where you were born or your parents.

"If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law."--Hebrews 7:11, 12. Here Paul is telling you that perfection or what some may call the renewed mind cannot come through the priesthood which has been changed which necessitates a change in the law, since what is to stop yet another priest and another priest from demanding tithes from you. "And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother?"--Exodus 4:14. Here the Lord is telling Moses that Aaron is just a man no different than himself, and has no divine authority. "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God."--Hebrews 7:19. It is you who have the power to draw nigh, or to get near to God, and you do not need the assistance of the priesthood.

"For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar."--Hebrews 7:13. Here Paul refers to Melchisedec to whom Abram tithed as not being a priest present at the altar. In other words Melchisedec is not a human being, but a divine presence in the minds of man.

"For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life."--Hebrews 7:14-16. Here Paul is relating a very big secret. Our Lord (Jesus Christ) sprang out of Juda which is the right hemisphere of the brain, and not out of the womb of Mary, and that there may arise carnal imposters. "And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch..."--Numbers 2:3. The east always represents the right hemisphere of the brain which will always be overrun by the thoughts of the intellect from the left hemisphere. The constant chatter in your mind always comes from the left. "For many are called, but few are chosen."--Matthew 22:14. Many are offered to move to the right side of the brain, but only a few actually make it. They are the chosen, the people who live in the land of Judah on the right side.

So, likewise give him the same 10% that Abraham gave to Melchizedek, rather than giving it to humans in robes who know no more and are no better than you.

"(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament."--Hebrews 7:21, 22. Here Paul tells us that Jesus was not first. He was not God's only begotten son, for before him there was Melchisedec.

"For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."Hebrews 7:17. Melchisedec is an earlier title for the Christ consciousness.

'Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."--Hebrews 6:20 "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."--John 8:57, 58. I included verse 8:57 here since it is commonly agreed amongst Christians that Jesus died in his early thirties. Who tells a thirty year old, 'Thou art not yet fifty years old.' They would more likely say you are not yet forty years old. Jesus also attests to the fact that he existed before Abraham, and did not come into being from the womb of Mary since before Abraham was, I am. "The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath."--Psalms 110:4, 5. Notice that the Lord is at the right hand and the kings represents the thoughts from the left.

"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."--1Peter 2:5. It is you who are the holy priesthood, not those ordained by man. Stones, like the pineal gland, always refer to something that is of God.

"And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir."--Genesis 15:4. In other words the Christ child shall be born in you. "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:"--Hebrews 9:11-13. Here Paul tells us that the sacrifice he is talking about is neither a blood sacrifice of animals, nor does it take place in any church or temple built by human hands, but in the holy of holiest places the temple upon your shoulders. "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"--Hebrews 9:24. Jesus Christ does not come to you in churches and temples built by man, but only in heaven which is the kingdom upon your shoulders.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."--Romans 12:1. The sacrifice that is being sought is not a financial sacrifice, but a part of your physical bodies, the left hemisphere of your brain. Why does God want you to surrender the left hemisphere, or conscious 10% of your brain? Because the 90% of the brain on the right side runs the show. It is responsible for everything you do, your breath, your circulation, your digestion, everything except it is subconsious, and believes everything that it is told by the conscious 10% of the brain regardless of how ungodly those thoughts may be.
